Bayer chairman quits as Roundup settlement talks progress

Bayer Chairman Werner Wenning, one of the architects of a $63 billion takeover deal that has left the German crop protection company fighting costly lawsuits, will step down in April, it said on Wednesday.
Bayer shares have plunged about a quarter in value since August 2018, when the company lost the first U.S. lawsuit claiming weedkiller Roundup - acquired via the takeover of Monsanto - causes cancer.
"We have made and continue to make progress in handling the legal issues in the U.S. That's why now is a good time to hand over to my successor," the 73-year-old Wenning said in a statement.

One of my concerns is that these events coincide with unprecedented global pushback by the public against aggressive and unethical efforts to market and mandate vaccines despite rising vaccine injuries and the absence of vaccine safety studies and evidence – all in a manner clearly in violation of the Nuremberg Code. The challenge of covering epidemics is the same as covering numerous health enigmas in our world. The extraordinary history of falsehoods fronting for multiple political and economic agendas makes it difficult to trust global health care institutions and governments. I believe we have seen biological and chemical warfare portrayed as natural disease. We have seen disease outbreaks sold as terrifying global pandemics that fizzled out quickly after an election was won. We have seen poor sanitation, malnutrition, environmental pollution, and unhealthy living conditions whited out by blaming a "deadly virus" that sells news and creates opportunities for pharmaceutical companies. Governments have poured billions into dirty weapons, including bio and chemical warfare that have the potential to be deadly and dangerous on both a local and global scale. There are now allegations that EMF radiation adds another harmful influence to this disease cocktail. Ascertaining the facts is difficult – and often takes time. In the meantime, whatever the facts of a given health phenomenon, the immediate economic and political implications can be profound.
To appreciate the divergence between reality and official reality when dealing with health crises – and the importance of exercising independent thinking – I asked Jon to join me this week. Of course, the World Health Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control are relentlessly pushing the idea that: this is a spreading epidemic, and it is caused by COV-19, a new human coronavirus.
Now, the US Centers for Disease Control is rolling out a program to test Americans (e.g., travelers who have been to China). As time passes, the program will likely pull larger numbers of Americans into that net.
The CDC program immediately raises two problems: why bother testing for a virus if it isn’t really causing human disease; and what kind of test is being done?
In this article, I’m focusing on the type of test, and whether it’s accurate, even if you assume the coronavirus is causing disease.
CDC Official Warns U.S. Hospitals: Be Ready for "Surge" of Coronavirus Patients in America

It (sic) yet another bombshell message from the CDC, a top CDC official named Dr. Anne Schuchat is openly warning U.S. hospitals to get prepared for a wave of coronavirus infections.
"A larger spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus across the U.S. could overwhelm emergency rooms and cause supply shortages of some crucial medical supplies," warns CNBC (stating the obvious). CNBC also cites Dr. Schuchat:
"This is the time to open up your pandemic plans and see that things are in order," ...
According to NBC, the child’s mother communicated with members of the "Stop Mandatory Vaccination" Facebook page to solicit advice on how to treat her son who she believed had the flu. Suggestions ranged from thyme to elderberry to breast milk, "none of which are medically recommended treatments for the flu," the network reminds us.
The story goes on to tell us:
The child had not been diagnosed yet, but he was running a fever and had a seizure, the mother wrote. She added that two of her four children had been diagnosed with the flu and that the doctor had prescribed the antiviral Tamiflu for everyone in the household.
"The doc prescribed tamiflu (sic) I did not pick it up," she wrote.
"We called the doctors. We called the hospital. We gave them the medicine we were instructed to give. We did everything," she said in an interview over the phone.
While NBC – which rakes in massive profits from advertising purchased by Big Pharma – highlights that the child died after the mother sought advice from the "anti-vaxxer" group, it downplays the fact that the mother took the child to the hospital where he died four days later while in the hospital.
Sounds to me like the medical-industrial complex killed him, as it does more than 200,000 people each year.
Of course, the Twitter hounds for the most part believe the child died because he didn’t take the Tamiflu. It’s not clear whether he did, as NBC quotes her saying she didn’t fill the prescription but in the CBS story she said she gave the child all the medications prescribed. But that’s irrelevant anyway. Tamiflu does not cure the flu, nor does the drug manufacturer even make such claims. At best, Tamiflu is said to ease the symptoms and maybe take one day off the disease’s duration. But it has a host of side effects – including seizures – especially in children.
NBC is fake news. Neither the mother nor the Facebook group is responsible for the child’s death.
